Whenever an artist puts a concept into paint, it is the death of all the other ideas along the same lines. So quite often I will get down two or three of those ideas at one time and work from one piece to another. That is what happened when I became involved with nebulae, comets, suns and planets. The series evolved from figures watching and being illuminated to figures creating or juggling heavenly bodies, and it is still developing..
